Ciara Calitri, PA-C, has 10 years of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) experience with a primary focus in pediatrics. Since 2014, Ms. Calitri has held positions with Excelis Medical Associates, located at BayCare St. Joseph’s Hospitals in Tampa, Florida. Primarily working within the Pediatric Emergency Department, Ms. Calitri temporarily shifted to the Adult Emergency Department during the COVID-19 Global Pandemic Crisis in 2020. In 2021, Ms. Calitri joined the faculty of her alma mater, South University, in the role of Director of Clinical Education & Assistant Professor. Ms. Calitri's career as a PA-C began in 2013 at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Pediatric Emergency Department in Saint Petersburg, Florida, which led to her tenure with Excelis Medical Associates. Ms. Calitri is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Florida Academy of Physician Assistants (FAPA), and Society for Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants (SEMPA). Ms. Calitri holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Fordham University.
Ms. Calitri resides in Tampa with her husband and their three children but is no stranger to the road. A native of New Jersey, Ms. Calitri relocated to Tampa in support of her husband's career in Major League Baseball. Ms. Calitri's husband, Michael, is currently the bench coach for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball and he has been working in professional baseball for 20 years. Ms. Calitri intimately understands and empathizes with the many challenges in healthcare that families of professional athletes face at home and on the road; in-season and off-season. Ms. Calitri's mission is to support the families of professional athletes who require access to pediatric resources outside of the traditional paradigm. Ms. Calitri was compelled to co-found Pro Pediatrics VIP Medicine in order to serve patients who require care outside business hours across a multitude of locations and she is passionate about the value that focused pediatric telemedicine provides.

Dr. Barbour is double-board certified in pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine. He completed residency in pediatrics in New Jersey in 2015 and a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at one of the nation's top programs, University of Alabama at Birmingham. He has been practicing medicine for over a decade, worked at level 1 trauma centers, and gained experience in both urgent and non-urgent pediatric complaints. He spent nearly eight years at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Tampa, FL which is a level 2 trauma center and one of the busiest pediatric emergency departments in the region. Dr. Barbour has an extensive experience in pediatrics and his practice is rooted in up-to-date evidence based medicine. His medical training as well as diverse clinical experience have allowed Dr. Barbour to better understand the challenges professional athletes and their families face when it comes to healthcare. He currently works for Advent health in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Barbour was born in Denver, CO. He currently lives with his wife and daughters in Florida.
